Details

Our limes are the Bearss variety (often called Persian limes), known for their smooth skin, generous size and excellent juice content.

Each kilogram typically contains around 12-14 limes, depending on size.

Limes are one of the most versatile citrus fruits, adding bright flavour to cocktails, marinades, curries, dressings and desserts.

Our fresh New Zealand limes are grown in the sunny citrus region of Gisborne, where warm days and coastal conditions help produce fruit that is juicy, aromatic and full of flavour.

Storage

Limes can be stored at room temperature for several days, especially if kept out of direct sunlight.

For longer storage, place them in the refrigerator where they will stay fresh for several weeks.

Limes can also be juiced and frozen in ice cube trays for later use.

We send all orders with NZ Post using a tracked courier service.

Overnight delivery to the North Island and Christchurch.

Two-day delivery to the rest of the South Island.

Rural deliveries may take an extra day.

Tracking details will be sent to you by email once your order has been dispatched.

Our Growers

These limes are grown on the Twisted Citrus orchard in Gisborne by Sandy and Bron Kemp.

Gisborne’s warm sunshine and coastal conditions create ideal growing conditions for citrus, producing limes that are juicy, aromatic and full of flavour.

Our fruit is carefully picked and packed so it arrives fresh and vibrant.
