Angelino plums are a popular late-season plum variety known for their deep purple skin and vibrant golden-yellow flesh.

They have a firm texture with a rich, balanced flavour that combines natural sweetness with a gentle tart edge. This makes them perfect for eating fresh, slicing into fruit salads, or enjoying as a simple seasonal snack.

Angelino plums are also known for retaining their firmness, meaning they travel well and continue ripening naturally once they arrive.

Storage

Plums can be stored at room temperature while they continue to ripen.

If your plums arrive firm, leave them in a fruit bowl for a few days until they soften slightly and develop their full flavour.

Once ripe, they can be stored in the refrigerator to extend freshness.

Shipping Info

We pack and dispatch our fresh fruit orders on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week.

Orders placed before 12pm on Wednesday are usually sent the same week, subject to availability.

We use NZ Post courier services and provide tracking details for every order so you can follow your fruit from our orchard to your door.

Overnight delivery to the North Island and Christchurch.

Two-day delivery to the rest of the South Island.

Rural deliveries may take an extra day.

Tracking details will be sent to you by email once your order has been dispatched.

These Angelino plums are grown by Rose Cottage Orchard in Gisborne, a region well known for producing excellent stonefruit thanks to its warm sunshine and fertile soils.
