Details

Triumph belongs to the Turban class of hardneck garlic - a group known for producing some of the most visually impressive bulbs you'll ever come across.
Crack one open and you'll find large, beautifully coloured cloves that are as satisfying to work with as they are to look at.

The flavour is rich and full-bodied with a medium heat that's confident without being aggressive - present enough to make its mark in a dish, but balanced enough to let other ingredients shine alongside it.

Like most Turban varieties, Triumph really comes into its own when roasted. The heat mellows beautifully in the oven, giving way to a creamy, sweet depth that makes it exceptional spread on bread, stirred through mashed potato, or tucked into a slow-cooked dish.
Raw, it holds its own too - great sliced into dressings, marinades or anything where you want a proper garlic presence without overwhelming heat. The large clove size is a genuine bonus in the kitchen - less peeling, more cooking.

Each bulb is also suitable for use as seed garlic.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated spot away from direct sunlight - a pantry or open basket is ideal.

Avoid the fridge, which can cause premature sprouting.

Stored well, Triumph will keep for several months. If using as seed garlic, plant as soon as possible for best results.
