Details

Mariri Red is one of New Zealand's finest apple varieties. The skin is a deep, almost glossy crimson, and the flesh is dense, white, and exceptionally crisp - with a bold tartness and intensity of flavour that sets it apart from softer, milder varieties.

It rewards careful timing and careful growing, which is exactly what the growers we work with deliver. The flavour develops properly only when the fruit is allowed to mature on the tree, and you can taste the difference.

Delicious eaten fresh, sliced into a salad, or paired with good cheese. They hold their texture beautifully and don't disappoint.

Approximately 5 apples per kilogram.

Storage

Keep your Mariri Reds in the fridge to hold their crunch and flavour.

They'll stay in excellent condition for several weeks when stored cool.

Overnight delivery to the North Island and Christchurch. Two-day delivery to the rest of the South Island. Rural deliveries may take an extra day.
