Details

The Seville is the bitter orange behind the world's most famous marmalade.
Unlike sweet oranges, Sevilles have a thick, bumpy peel and a bitterness that makes them perfect for cooking and preserving - and their naturally high pectin content means your marmalade will set beautifully without any additives.
The flavour is deep, complex and intensely citrusy in a way that sweet oranges can't replicate.

Beyond marmalade, they're excellent in preserves, curds, sauces and marinades, and they're the citrus behind liqueurs like Cointreau. Anything where you want real citrus depth and punch, this is your orange.

Grown on our own orchard in Gisborne and available for a short window each year. We pick them fresh and get them to you quickly so you can make the most of them while they're here.

Approximately 9 Seville oranges per kilogram.

Storage

Keep your Seville oranges in a cool, dry place or in the fridge.
They'll hold well for several weeks, which gives you plenty of time to get your preserving on.

We send all orders with NZ Post using a tracked courier service.

Overnight delivery to the North Island and Christchurch. Two-day delivery to the rest of the South Island.

Rural deliveries may take an extra day.

Tracking details will be sent to you by email once your order has been dispatched.
