Peaches - Golden

Details

Our golden peaches are a delicious yellow-fleshed variety known for their exceptional sweetness and juiciness.

Approximately 4 peaches per kg, depending on size.

These clingstone peaches are smaller than freestone varieties but pack more flavour and juice. The flesh is soft and sweet, clinging gently to the stone - perfect for eating fresh, slicing into desserts, or transforming into jams and preserves.

In season from February through March, these are a short-lived treasure worth making the most of.

Eat them fresh and chilled on a warm afternoon, slice into a pavlova with whipped cream and berries, layer into a peach tart, or simply bite into one and let the juice run down your chin.

Storage

If your peaches arrive slightly firm, leave them at room temperature for a day or two until they soften and become fragrant.

Once ripe, store them in the fridge for up to five days to keep them fresh.

Store stem-side down to prevent bruising, and handle gently - they're delicate fruit.

We send all orders with NZ Post using a tracked courier service.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Wednesday.

Overnight delivery to the North Island and Christchurch.

Two-day delivery to the rest of the South Island.

Rural deliveries may take an extra day.
